hi, i am suffering!!
in dover beach is the main them futility?
what is he inscinuating when he says "sea of faith"?
and what is the relationship between public and private life if any?
sorry, i have only learned english recently, and sometimes poetry gets me very confused. please help, thank you.

Just above these messages is "The Poetry Archives'"' own Search facility.
Click on it.
Type the word Dover in the box.
Select 'All Words' and 'All Dates'
Un-tick 'Author' box and 'Subject' box
Tick the 'Message Bodies' box
Click the 'Search' button

Within a few seconds you will have many former posts on 'Dover Beach'
